Pilot project on travel time estimation has been set up on one of the Slovenian main highway sections, A1 between Vransko and Blagovica.
The system, currently under the test phase, has proved very efficient in informing the drivers about travel times on the highway, both during free flow conditions and in rerouting cases, when the traffic is diverted to a regional road due to road works on the main direction.
Traffic design has implemented SLIM PARK, a compact parking solution, for a private parking operator in the city of Ljubljana.
Traffic design won the tender to equip the intersection in the municipality of Ljubljana with the intelligent video detection system.
The video detection system, replacing the inductive loops technology, is providing the input data for traffic controllers at the signalized intersections, with the aim to assure proper traffic dependant control.
Traffic design has equipped several intersections in the municipality of Kranj with the intelligent video detection system.
Video detection systems provide an alternative to most frequently used inductive loops to detect parameters of traffic flow at intersections. Video detection systems enable optimal control of traffic flows at intersections, while providing the operators in control centers an overview of the traffic state in the urban road network by using live video stream.
Traffic design has lately installed three new parking systems in the municipality of Ljubljana.
Parking systems that allow personal-free operation via automatic cashiers are connected to the existing parking management and control center.
Dynamic lane reduction used to increase the capacity for cars exiting from a highway off-ramp.
