Traffic design has equipped several intersections in the municipality of Kranj with the intelligent video detection system.

Video detection systems provide an alternative to most frequently used inductive loops to detect parameters of traffic flow at intersections. Video detection systems enable optimal control of traffic flows at intersections, while providing the operators in control centers an overview of the traffic state in the urban road network by using live video stream.
