Company Traffic design in joint venture with Iskra Sistemi, Riko, IMP and Javna razsvetljava was awarded to equip the newly built tunnel Markovec. Tunnel Markovec is a two tube, two lane 2150 m long highway tunnel.

Traffic design will install video surveillance system, automatic video detection system and automatic license plate recognition system to allow the recognition of dangerous goods transport.

The video detection system will ensure the following functionalities:
·         detection of vehicles driving in the wrong direction 
·         detection of stopped vehicles 
·         slow moving vehicle detection 
·         pedestrian detection 
·         smoke detection
